its been forever since i've updated.
basically, been on tour for the past couple of months, kicking asses and rocking faces around the nation.
for all you NJ people, most of whom i have not seen in ages, we will be playing at the NJ WARPED TOUR date on august 14. so all you fuckers better be there.

thursday's ltj show KICKED ASS.
saturday's show in MA kicked considerably less ass, however, the people who were there were all awesome and a blast to hang out with, so it was a pretty good time nonetheless. i also am the current leader in the gameboy tetris tournament. so i got that going for me. which is nice.
this weekend should be interesting, if nothing else. we're playing this show at the 5 spot in philly as part of the emergenza festival. so we have to be there at like noonish, and we don't play until 11pm. crazy. but with the 8 or so hours to kill, we'll probably go over to atlantic city (which is only like 40 min from philly), so i can gamble away money i don't have. excellent. well i suppose if i have enough money left for a cheesesteak, i won't be in terrible shape.
we will be entering the ernie ball battle of the bands again this year. which i will begin getting on everyone's case about in a week or so, and yelling and spitting until you all vote for us.
thats it. back to work.

FUCK YEAH. got a phone call from byrne yesterday, confirming that we're playing with LESS THAN JAKE at Starland Ballroom on Thurs, April 7th. That pretty much rules. Allister is also on the bill, which is always fun, as well as Kane Hodder, whom i have not heard but have heard good things about. either way, this should kick massive amounts of ass, and you should all make it out!

last night was pretty good. went to a beefsteak dinner with mike and paul, ate too much (yet somehow not enough). paul kicked our asses, mike was in the middle, and i lost. maybe i should better prepare next year.
tonight, if all things go as planned, i will be getting a goulash! dinner courtesy of tara's mom, then getting some stuff recorded in my basement. i just hope it isn't still 50 degrees down there.
i guess not much else is going on. have a couple of papers due this week which probably won't get done. oh well.

for some reason, ramapo decided to cleverly plow the aisles in the parking lot, but not the spaces...thereby leaving a row of foot-high ice mounds in front of the spots, preventing people from pulling in. i love it.
had a pretty good weekend. i was sick on friday, but i had a double-event night on saturday, which kind of rocked. me and tara headed into crooklyn to see the marvellous jenna, hung out there for a few hours, then tara was kind of tired and sick so we left, trekked back, then i met up with the gang in nyack to celebrate jeff's 21st b-day. i missed the first couple of stops, but i met them at olive's and after that we went to the irish bar down the street (walsh's?). i was driving, so no drinking, but it was very interesting to at least witness some of the ridiculousness that occurred.
school is a pain in the ass lately, especially with the snow...i can't wait to get back to playing again. hopefully we'll be beginning some NEW RECORDINGS this weekend. if not then, hopefully soon.
not much else. i'm at work now so i should probably go do something.

been a while, as usual. life is pretty good, but busy as hell.

this will be totally out of order, because i don't really remember what happened first or last or whatever the past week. played a show in MD on saturday, which was very long and grueling. played baseball and night wiffleball a few times, watched blazing saddles with mike and diana, practiced a few times, saw john briefly, etc. decent week.
tara also visited me a few times at work, which is always cool. she brings me lunch and cures my boredom by jumping into the gigantic pile of packing peanuts like an idiot. reminds me of the time i was driving her around and she wasn't paying attention to where i was driving, and i went around a turn and she flew into the door and smacked her face on the side window. haha. and she had a seatbelt on too. silly girl.
i got the new hives cd yesterday. awesomely good. and i listened to the entire cure box set the other day. it's ridiculously good. like 80 songs i'd never heard before. mmm.
recording this weekend. rock.
